It’s International Lesbian Day today (8th October) but lesbianism is everyday and forever, it’s eternal.

This concept came to me clearly and I knew exactly how I wanted to execute the design so naturally. I thought about how our identities as lesbians can never be limited to a day, a week, a month or a season- we all know that, of course! But quite simply just how much I personally absolutely adore being a lesbian. I imagined a cat, in 9 different forms, in 9 different lives, yet at its core, it remains the same. I just know that if I had 9 lives, I know I’d be a a lesbian in every one of them, without a doubt. Sexuality isn’t a choice but if it was, I’d always choose lesbianism. Regardless of the different ways we look, self-express and present, being a lesbian is a truly beautiful identity and existence. I’m thankful and lucky to be a lesbian and this feeling has never and will never cease.
